Baby Fireworks turns your phone or tablet into a safe, mesmerizing fireworks display that your baby controls with every tap. Each touch launches a rocket from the bottom of the screen that soars upward and explodes into a shower of colorful particles. The game features seven distinct firework types, burst, ring, sparkler, spiral, cascade, willow, and chrysanthemum. Each with its own unique explosion pattern and physics. Babies as young as six months can enjoy the cause-and-effect magic of tapping to create light, while older toddlers love experimenting with rapid multi-touch taps to fill the sky.

The experience runs in fullscreen mode with built-in safety locks. Your child cannot accidentally swipe away, press the home button, or navigate to another app. There are no ads, no pop-ups, and no distracting UI elements, just a deep night sky full of twinkling stars, waiting for tiny fingers to light it up. Baby Fireworks runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and nothing to pay. Open the page, press Start Playing, and the display fills the screen. It behaves the same on an iPhone, an iPad, an Android phone or tablet, a Chromebook, a laptop, or a desktop computer, so whichever device is already in your hand is the right one.

Every kind of input launches a firework. On a touchscreen, tap anywhere on the night sky and a rocket rises from the point you touched. Several fingers at once launch several fireworks at once, which is usually the first thing a toddler works out without being shown. On a computer, click anywhere with the mouse, or press any key on the keyboard to send one up. Once the page has finished loading, the whole game keeps working with no connection at all, which is what makes it useful on a flight or in the back of a car.

How the Parent Controls Work

We designed the parent controls to be invisible to babies but easy for adults to access. There are two ways to open the parent panel: hold down the small dot in the top-left corner of the screen for two seconds, or tap the subtle "Parent" button in the bottom-left corner. You can also type the word "parent" on a keyboard if your device is connected to one.

From the parent panel, you can switch between four color themes, Rainbow, Gold, Ocean, and Candy. Each curated with 8-9 harmonious colors that look beautiful when they burst across the dark sky. Toggle sound effects on or off, enable or disable auto-launch mode, and activate the Reduce Motion setting, which lowers particle counts for babies who may be sensitive to intense visual stimulation or to conserve battery on older devices. The panel also shows how many fireworks your baby has launched, and you can share that milestone with family and friends.

Sensory play is one of the most important types of stimulation for babies and toddlers. When your baby taps the screen and sees a firework explode in response, they are learning about cause and effect, one of the foundational cognitive concepts in early development. When it is time to stop, open the parent panel and tap Exit to return to the landing page. The fullscreen lock means your baby will not accidentally end up on YouTube or in your email, a common worry for parents who hand over their phones.

Slow, rhythmic, colorful visuals have a well-documented calming effect on most babies. Watching something bloom, fade, and then repeat gives the brain something to track without overstimulating it, a pattern therapists sometimes call sensory down-regulation. • Sparkler: A dense fizz of mostly white sparks that drift and hang in the air longer than the others, with an extra crackle in the sound.
• Spiral: Three to six curved arms that wind outward like a pinwheel, each arm in its own color.
• Cascade: A fountain that shoots upward and then rains back down, trailing slow golden sparks as it falls.
• Willow: Long, slow sparks that arc outward and droop toward the ground like the branches of a weeping willow.
• Chrysanthemum: A large two-layer bloom, a dense core in one color surrounded by brighter tips in another.

The 4 color themes (Rainbow, Gold, Ocean, and Candy) each pull from a different palette, so the same effect looks different depending on the theme. Themes can be switched from the parent panel without resetting the session.
