Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
My Baby Wonder ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website mybabywonder.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our site works.
The Short Version
- Your baby's details stay with you. We do not send birth dates or any other tool inputs to our servers.
- All calculations run entirely in your browser (client-side).
- A few tools save your entries locally on your device so they are waiting for you when you come back, and you can clear them anytime.
- We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It sets cookies and reports visits as aggregate counts, never as individual profiles, and you can opt out.
- We do not require an account, and we do not sell or share your information.
What Our Tools Do Not Collect
Our calculators and tools are built to work without knowing who you are. When you use them, all data processing happens locally in your web browser. The dates you enter, the results you see, and any calculations performed never leave your device.
We do not require account creation or registration to use anything on the site. The only place you can deliberately send us something is the optional feedback form, described further down.
Data Saved on Your Device
A few of our tools let you save your progress so it is waiting for you when you come back. This information is kept only in your own browser (using local storage on your device). It is never sent to us or to anyone else, it stays on the device you used, and removing it is entirely up to you.
Here is everything our tools may save locally:
- Weight and growth tracker: the entries you add (date, your baby's age, weight, height, and sex) so your growth history is there next time.
- Contraction timer: the contractions you time and their timestamps, so a refresh or a quick break does not lose your session.
- Solid foods guide: which first foods you have marked as tried.
- Baby names: the names you save as favorites.
- Appearance: your light or dark (night) mode preference.
Because this data lives in your browser, you can remove it whenever you like. Tools that save data offer a clear or reset option, and you can also wipe everything by clearing your browser's site data or history for mybabywonder.com. Using private or incognito mode keeps nothing once you close the window.
Analytics and Cookies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is being used: which pages people open, roughly which country they are in, and whether our tools work properly on their devices. This is how we decide what to build and fix next.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on your device, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, so that a repeat visit is not counted twice. The reports we see are aggregated counts rather than individual profiles, and we never connect them to anything you type into our tools. Google's own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, block cookies in your browser settings, or browse in private mode. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.
The Feedback Form
The feedback button in the corner of the page opens a short form powered by Tally. The button is on every page, but nothing is sent unless you choose to open the form and submit it. Whatever you write, including an email address if you decide to add one, is stored by Tally so that we can read it and reply. Their handling of that data is covered by the Tally privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
These are the outside services the site relies on:
- Hosting (Cloudflare Pages): our host may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses, browser types, and timestamps as part of normal operations. We do not access or use these to track individual visitors.
- Google Analytics: site usage measurement, as described above.
- Tally: the optional feedback form, as described above.
- Email newsletter (Kit): if you choose to subscribe to our monthly new-game email, the address you enter is sent to and stored by Kit, our newsletter service, and is used only to send you that email. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. Kit's handling of your address is covered by the Kit privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: our typefaces load from Google's font servers, so your browser makes a request to them when a page opens.
We do not currently show advertisements. If that ever changes, we will update this page before it happens.
Children's Privacy
My Baby Wonder is a tool for parents and caregivers, and our games are meant to be handed to a little one with a grown-up nearby. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Our tools never ask for names, photos, or contact details, and the analytics described above measure page visits rather than identities.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
